In an other style of Caricature, Leah Tinari is inspired by 35mm photography, she said ‘The photographs that interest me most are the ones that someone else would rip up or erase from their digital camera shortly after they are taken‘  -She is also intrigued with the space in photograph by often eliminating objects and elements to recreate the location. Kanye’s collab with the Louis Vuitton Spring 09 line called “Kanye LV” stepped out in Paris on Thursday. The monochromatic beauties are just the kind of low-pro steeze expected from the K; of course he had to throw the little Louis flowers at the sole. Not sure what’s going on in the back with the oversized tabs? A take on a floppy hiking boot? – -LalaBlahBlah

“REASONS” Exhibition
In conjunction with the opening of a new Muji Flagship store in Hong Kong in Nov/Dec 08, Muji & Milk invited 15 different European designers, to contribute with their interpretation of the Muji expression for the exhibition “Reasons”.

MUJI x AIAIAI
The AIAIAI contribution was a special edition version of the “Y-Com” earphones. In the spirit of, and focusing on the simplicity of the MUJI design, AIAIAI chose to stripe down the usual colorfulness to a basic white model, however with a added and understated mix of AIAIAI in the spectrum of colors on the plugs.

Here is Mabona Origami – The video is called ‘ Origami in the pursuit of perfection ‘ – its a commercial for Onitsuka Tiger / Asics – A Pure beauty !
In September 2007 the advertising company Nordpol Hamburg+ (which is currently listed in the top ten advertising agencies world wide) asked me to help them make an origami movie. I spent the following four weeks designing around twenty origami models for the video and consulting the computer animators. The world wide corporate movie which tells the story of the Japanese sports brand ASICS has won numerous awards.

Last June we started hearing about Julia Hederus in a very big way. When the buzz about her collaboration with K-Swiss started, it was covered by just about every fashion, streetwear, and shoe blog on the net, not to mention the print coverage. It was a huge success, to say the least. And that was just the beginning as the collaboration was a just a part of her graduation runway presentation. And now without further adieu I present Julia Hederus SS09 Collection as seen in her look book.
