The Hemeroscopium House located in Las Rozas, Madrid, Spain is an Amazing architectural work by Ensamble Studio. It took them a year to engineer the project but only seven days to build the structure, thanks to a total prefabrication of the different elements and a perfectly coordinated rhythm of assembly. The house materializes the peak of its equilibrium with what they ironically call the “G point”, a twenty ton granite stone, expression of the force of gravity and a physical counterweight to the whole structure. Los Angeles based August Bradley is a conceptual, fashion, and portrait photographer creating distinctive images for clients ranging from designer labels to large consumer brands to lifestyle magazines. Prior to his current photography career, August developed marketing strategies for consumer brands including Gap, J.Crew, Crate & Barrel, and others. Nothing comes out raw from his camera (Hasselblad), every pictures is heavily retouched, but so nicely done, that the result look almost like paintings. Watch short documentary about him here

Marissa Nadler : River of Dirt

Not that it is full, just heavier than that which came before. This first single from Marissa Nadler’s upcoming fourth solo album actually has palpable percussion. It feels good, it feels like something you can hold on to, or rest against. She retains all the melancholy, all the ethereal dreaminess, but its not floating freely anymore, and i like it better this way.
