Joe Price's Home in Corona Del Mar
Architectural Heir to the the one and only Bruce Goff, to date Bart Prince’s work is as unique and distinct, in its non-conformist methods, as Goff was to the world in his time. Though Goff’s mature work had no precedent, he drew inspiration from sources as varied as Antoni Gaudi, Balinese music, Claude Debussy, Japanese ukiyo-e prints, and seashells. As his student and assistant Bart Prince acquired or shared similar stimulus. The project’s that Prince has done in his lifetime can be compared to almost non of his contemporaries, many of which start from their environment, addressing and involving it 100% into the design. This can be seen below in the home he was commissioned to build by Joe Price, who also commissioned projects to Frank Lloyd Wright and Bruce Goff, in Corona Del Mar. “The scheme grew from the inside-out beginning with the desires of the client for privacy as well as an integration with the site and close association with the sea.”

When technology collaborates with Fashion it results in this: Issey Miyake x Dyson collaboration- The two have come up with the DC16 limited edition (a.k.a “The Wind”), a super stylish handheld vacuum with twice the power of other handheld’s. Issey Miyake designed the Dc16 vacuum and Dyson designed the Dc16 jacket ( the 2007 Paris Runway ). What a beauty! Would love to see more collab’ of this kind, like a Martin Margiela Blackberry for example… READ MORE

Martin Margiela is always on top of the trends and when it comes to his store designs, they are simply art! I believe being a fan of Margiela’s collections goes hand in hand with loving their stores, I’ve been to bunch of them all over Europe, but this one recently opened in Munich, and it looks pretty clean and extremely well designed. (It was really hard to fine big pictures) The 270 sqm. store is located on top-notch maximilianstrasse and features both menswear and womenswear collections. location: maximilanstrasse 34.
Also I wish I could be there right now to check his 20 retrospective Exhibition: haus der kunst (on until june 1st) – More info Here
