oh my! the first bus stop shown is from my city… that’s totally weird, cos i’m so used to em that i forget how amazing they are, everyday i pass in front of this one to go to my school… well, they were designed on 90′s; the very first ideia was from a local architect – which was our mayor. By now he travels around the world talking about urban planning, he’s simple a genium: Jaime Lenner. i’m totally facineted by his crazy solutions, i’m about to start next year archicteture college…

These are fantastic!! Anyone want to design a flying bird bus stop for a new adult literacy campaign? Check out our website – http://www.leamos.org. The metaphor we use is that to learn to read and write is to fly out of a cage.

looking for some inspiration to design a series of bus stops and shelters for the central plateau here in new zealand i was gobsmacked by some of these designs. whilst some make me laugh out loud (the swing and the green roof one in my home town of sheffield uk) others make me sit back and go wow. I will post my design results hopefully with images of the constructed products later.
All good humour and miles of smiles to all that read this
