French brand Petit Bateau was started in 1893 by making ” classics ” for newborns, little boys and girls and later Men and Women. It has been awhile since they expanded their range with some more fashionable collections like the MIXTE Collection-
Petit Bateau’s latest lookbook for their women Fall ’09 styles is beautifully shot and looks quite cute, comfortable and classic. As Pipeline said, they are known for their “utilitarian basics laced with a Parisian sensibility.” Also see their fashion at New MIXTE Collection.

The story behind this really cool project of The School Food Trust is to encourage healthy eating and improve the well-being of students, their goal is to create new school dining environments across the UK. This cool idea was designed by SHH architects. The 4,000-square-foot interior now has a relaxed cafeteria feel with areas zoned for eating and for casual hanging-out. I wish i could had a cafeteria like this in my school !

Adam Parker Smith’s work is populated by subjects pulled from the fertile environment of my fears and longings, polluted with filth, obsessions, crushes, jealousy and grace, merely a reaction to his perception of life. In his work he toys with ideas of imperfection, humans flaws and magnifies them in his often grotesque puppetry.
“Through this combination, I establish psychological sites for disparate elements to congregate in environments that are simultaneously haunting, familiar and alien. These tragicomic installations are private, uncensored, darkly humored and most often involve the direct participation of the viewer.”

Wave Machines : The Line

I was lucky to get my ears on Wave Machines’ upcoming debut album ‘Wave If You’re Really There.’ I was already excited on the strength of “I Go I Go I Go” and “Keep The Lights On.” Upon first listen, I’m blown away. I haven’t heard such a solid and diverse debut record since ‘Santogold.’ The group mixes in upbeat electro-pop, traditional tender British ballads, and… well, maybe its not as diverse as Santi’s record but it sounds bloody great. Great songwriting and production throughout – is that generic? Ugh. Just go listen to “The Line,” “The Greatest Escape We Ever Made,” the fore mentioned songs, and join the bandwagon. I’m sitting shotgun. You got bitch! haha.
