For the 150th anniversary of the Red Cross on 17th November, Sotheby’s will auction some Louis Vuitton luggage for charity. Iconic photographer Annie Leibovitz and British artist Damien Hirst are just two guest designers creating their ultimate piece of Louis Vuitton luggage. (Leibovitz has designed a red-lined back pack filled with compartments to transport camera equipment.)

b Magazine- Issue #1

b_Magazine Issue 1_COVER

b Store just sent us these images of their very first issue of b Magazine, a 100-page print magazine available in the b Store boutique, Savile Row, London. The magazine’s creative director Jason Hughes has curated what sounds like a great debut issue featuring articles and images of thirty of London’s most diverse talents from fashion, film, art and music including designers Tim Soar and Peter Jensen, Jasmina Dexter of Pandora’s Jukebox and illustrator Kez Glozier. The aesthetic looks right on point with the edgier young designer minimal vibe present in b store. I am excited to recieve the issue in hand for the full picture.

KOZ Architects Designed Sports Center

koz-architects-sports-center

Designed by Paris based KOZ Architects, the 1,600 square-meter facility is unexpected and bold in its riotous use of colors both inside and out. I would have loved as a kid having such a cool and colorful Sport Center!

It doesn’t take much imagination to understand that toys and childhood play were the guiding inspirations for the recently completed children’s sports and recreation center in Saint-Cloud, a wealthy community located in the metropolitan area of Paris, about six miles from the city center.

David Spiller has made a solid lifetime career from his “keen eye and ear for the lyrical phrases and comic book ephemera of popular culture.” His iconic paintings synthesize the best of Americana, he admits, “The words just come. Song of the Day : [09/25]

The Filthy Youth : Come Flash All Your Ladies

The Filthy Youth

Just when you thought he had won your heart over enough as the connivingly romantic Gossip Boy Chuck Bass, Ed Westwick wins it over yet again fronting his band The Filthy Youth. Another unsigned  indie injection into the British music scene that, much to our dismay, has not yet released an album. This song, along with all their others, is sure to keep you on your toes and definitely one to wake you up properly in the morning. The energy exerted by these filthy youths’ drum sticks, guitar strings, and vocal chords could make people that don’t even like rock want to dance around. The U.K. + rock has always seemed to be that inexplicable perfect equation.

Tell me why you wanna run away/

Sweet sweat on a summer’s day/

Go see the doctor for a cure/

I’m sure he’ll help you out, Amour/
