Take your bike anywhere, with this Concept Eco // 07 by Mexican designer Victor M. Aleman – The Compactable Urban Bicycle is designed to save space when it is being transported or it is not in use. The Wheel is composed by six modules, each one has a double pivot in the joints…

this allows the wheel to fold and become smaller, the spokes are contained in the inner structure of the wheel, when you unfold the system, the spokes rotate to the center of the mechanism where it attach to the center of the wheel. The double triangle structure is composed by expandable modules, each one collapses to a smaller dimension and then this modules align by the rotation of the axis in the joint of the structure, to keep in position all the structure is used an special part in a form of an X that aligns all the modules to their position.

Bringing you the golden whisper of the New York Fashion week runways. Though I can not say I saw anything on the revolutionary tip, I was rather impressed with a handful of collection in their entirety.

I was blown away by the Julian Louie runway, the girls looked like gentle fashion illustrations dressed in perfectly tailored garments made with contrast paneling in a muted and soothing palette. Everything about the presentation was gorgeous. I was immersed in the drama behind the Temperley London girls. The collection and runway presentation carried an undeniable art nouveau chic. Equally bold was the collection of Proenza Schouler which was full of color and tribal inspired frocks. And as a final highlight, I was extremely fond of Ohne Titel’s silhouettes and graphic delivery. There are many other details to pay attention to when scrolling through this review, so look closely at the details.

The Black Angels: Manipulation

Even though the Black Angels released their first EP on my birthday back in 2005, they’re gift of sound managed to escape my cognizance. In fact, it wasn’t until recently that this band’s amazing psychedelic rock was brought to my attention. Over the course of the last four years, The Black Angels have toured with Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, The Warlocks, and The Black Keys to name a few. Their music draws comparisons to bands such as The Cramps and The Velvet Underground. Most songs are simultaneously eerie and upbeat. While their latest album, “Directions to See a Ghost” was released in 2008, I choose to share a song off their earlier album, “Passover”, simply because I currently cant get enough of it. However, I recommend you download it all, start to finish.
