Looks like a junkyard for neon signs, and that’s exactly what it is! The Vegas Boneyard is a part of The Las Vegas Neon Museum, open to serve as inspiration to fascinated artists, students, historians and designers.
those beautiful pictures has been taken by Flickr (addict) user Pam Sattler. See her Flickr set for plenty more (in hi-res)
It is home to some of the most treasured and world-famous signs of Las Vegas—Caesars Palace, Binions Horsehoe, Golden Nugget, Silver Slipper, and, most recently the Stardust. The three-acre Neon Boneyard houses more than 150 historic, non-restored signs.

Very cool and interesting subject matter. I liked the large slipper shot the best.
However, that pop-up could make me never return to this site.

SO i dont understand it, you guys post a lot of stuff that is featured on Icon_ology.therndm.com but never seem to credit it?
December 10th, 2009 at 8:38 am
huh ?! im sorry to disappoint you Annieves, but we and especially i do not check your site at all ! and you said a lot of stuff ?? when i click on this : http://www.iconology.therndm.com it gives me the Drupal install page, are you sure you have a site ?
Also you said a lot of stuff ? Like what else !? im sorry but im confused, we do credit everytime we find a full article from an other site, but when we find it via stumble upon or fffound directly on a flickr page, we do credit the flickr or artists.
We do like send our readers to some other sites, we do not fear any competition at this point because basically we dont have any, content wise and traffic wise…
