The anticipated news of Kostas Murkudis SS 2010 has finally arrived to sweep our fashion hearts away, encore une fois. These gently tattered beauties walk in and out of each frame with a lucid softness that encompasses all of Murkudis’s collections. For Spring/Summer 2010 the designer was inspired by René Lalique, the “inventor of modern jewellery” and icon of the French Art Nouveau. The Drums: Down by the Water

The Drums are a new band out of Brooklyn that blend a massively likable, not to mention danceable, sound of gloomy 80s pop, 90s indie-pop and 50s surf-rock. ‘Down by the Water’ is one of their more slow and romantic tracks, but I fell in love with its beautiful simplicity.
