Adidas Originals is kicking off 2010 by welcoming you to the neighborhood, the street where originality comes to life as artists, athletes, and celebs celebrate their style. Everyone’s invited to our street corner along with some special guests, who traveled from a galaxy far, far away to launch a year’s worth of celebrations.

Well this song is really of no relevance at this particular point in time, but thanks to the awesome invention that is “shuffle” I rediscovered it after a 5 year hiatus and its the shiznit so I’m sharing it. The TeddyBears are a Swedish band known for mixing pop, rock, hip-hop, electronica, reggae and punk. On this particular track they collaborate with Jamaican dancehall star Mad Cobra, use the piano riff from “Good Thing” by Fine Young Cannibals, and use elements from Erick Sermon’s “Bomdigi” and Sugar Hill Gang’s “Rapper’s Delight”. Need I say more? Didn’t think so…Enjoy

Sinden is a London produder/Dj that has a repertoire for dropping a wide-range of sets including everything from hip hop and RnB/soul to dance, house, baile funk, and electro. This particular song is a remix of Lady Sovereign’s, So Human, and the more and more I listen to it the more I want to play it for a crowd and see the reaction it provokes. It may be the grimy horn sections or maybe the explosive bass that is so contagious. But regardless of speculation, it is a definite body mover.
