It is the first time I came across the work of Hormazd Narielwalla and I’m liking it very much. His patterned collages have a strong historical British inspiration, it is no wonder Mr. Paul Smith decided to exhibit his work at the Paul Smith’s Furnishing Gallery… READ MORE

“Don’t try to claim things I haven’t earned honest, man, Slick Rick and Outkast is on this jam.”
Yeah, dude got a little weird, but he’s still a founding father. Plus, no one tells a story like he does, which is why Slick Rick’s 24 track “The Art of Story Telling” seems so appropriately titled I guess. Track number three; Street Talkin’ features ATL natives Outkast and…YUP it’s beyond dope. As of late Slick Rick has been busy having his attempted murder charges pardoned and avoiding Department of Homeland Security who has been trying to deport him to his place of birth, the UK, for quite a while now…can’t catch him though. Dude’s too slick.

I recently discovered the work of Alexi Lubomirski - shame on me for taking so long to find him. Pretty much every CondeNast publication, as well as every cool model and celebrity you can think of has been shot by Lubomirski…

Chase & Status are a production duo from London that have enjoyed success in the UK since the early 2000′s. There talent and music has only just made the journey across the pond to take on the American market, producing tracks for the likes of Rihanna and Snoop with a slew of new material lined up for 2010. Despite their immersion into the mainstream pop world though they still produce a lot of drum n bass and dubstep which is what they started out doing. This track in particular features London based rapper Plan B and is proof that the duo are still very much a force to be reckoned with within the drum n bass realm in a time when interest in the genre is fading. On this track they perfectly mix crisp acoustic guitars with shiny pads and fast paced drum patterns to create a real musical experience that is quite fresh and new. Enjoy…
