
In our favorite Pin-up illustrator serie, here is Gil Elvgren (1914-1980). Elvgren has joined the ranks of George Petty and Enoch Bolles as one of the premiere American pin-up artists. His heroines are often caught in humorous but distressing situations. Too bad that nowadays the garter-belt is not as much as popular…

Beautiful retro stuff. Have to laugh at the funhouse one. An amusement park near me had one back in the sixties. Boys would hang around to watch the girls come out in sixties mini-skirts and get it blown up by the fan operator. Now there would be lawsuits, jail time, and national news crews on that scene. Back then, all just laughed and headed for the roller coaster.
