Last week, Thierry Mugler and Clarins Fragrance Group launched a major campaign under the banner “Womanity.” They have also registered the “Womanity” trademark in a number of product categories. There’s just one thing missing: there’s no product. At least, not yet. But a great visual website – womanity.com
The relentless reputation of the French when it comes to mixing/dropping the illest electronic tracks with utter fluency is once again reinforced with this fresh new banger. Jamaica, the Parisian duo formerly known as Poney Poney, recently released ‘I Think I Like U 2’ off their upcoming debut album, produced by Xavier de Rosnay (of Justice) and mastered by Peter Franco (sound engineer, worked on Daft Punk’s ‘Alive 2007’). The quality of the french sound/production is immediately apparent in the track as is the talent and appeal of Jamaica’s Antoine Hilaire (vocals/guitar) and Florent Lyonnet (bass/vocals) who are currently working on finishing up the album with Rosnay and Franco. I expect that the final product will be of high caliber and I look forward to hearing it.
