I really like this graphic architectural series of photos by German photographer Holger Schilling. Some of the shots feel so gridded out it is almost as if you are looking at a 2-D architectural plan.
We were contacted by the talented Charlie Rubin about his great photography work, and we really loved his Mixed (media) series. The LA based artist, shoots and draws or paints over his work, giving it a cool final touch!
I found this totally randomly and the source was in Cyrillic letters so it was a bit hard to decode, but I thought it was so clever, I had to share. Pretty much each one of these depictions of the artist is so on point with their style, but I do still wonder if we removed the names how many people would actually guess the artists. Photographer Elene Usdin likes to play with reality by altering it with elements of fantasy to create metaphorical stages for her photographs. In this series titled “Femme D’interieur”, which can be translated as “Domesticated Women”. Usdin shares, “I chose to observe the backgrounds that encase, and to some extent determine, the way women are portrayed, from a Florentine countryside to the overwrought interior of a painter’s studio.
