Hermès launches fine jewelry Collection

Hermès has now made a striking entry into the world of fine jewelry with an exclusive collection designed by famous accessories designer Pierre Hardy. The new fourteen-piece jewelry collection has been named “haute bijouterie” by Hermès.

The trendy collection includes a whip-shaped Fouet diamond necklace and the horse hoof-inspired Centaure necklace, bracelet, earrings and rings. The Fouet diamond necklace boasts 3,669 diamonds totaling 36.16 carats. The jewelry pieces will come in custom-made boxes made of black alligator leather. Laurence Reulet, general director of jewelry, said…

Hermès will be taking orders for the collection on a world tour that will stop in Tokyo in September, Hong Kong in October and Berlin in November. The waiting time is five to seven months, and pieces can be adapted to customers’ tastes.

While a pair of clip-on rose gold and black jade earrings costs $23,675, the diamond necklace will set you back $880,000. Now, this is seriously some fine jewelry.
