Frederique Daubal : Cut, Paste & Draw

French artist Frederique Daubal likes to cut, paste and draw. Overprint on magazines is one of her specialties. Coming from a graphic design background, she also experiments with textile as a 3 dimensional medium, or creates clothes under her name, without following any trends but using lots of second hand pieces…

For her Hide and Seek photographic series, Frederique cut out pages from fashion magazines, sliced them into fringe and made them into masks resembling Muslim niqabs. She’s looking for a gallery space to exhibit the photographs, so if you know of one, here’s your chance to support the arts! {Hintmag}

She works as a freelance creative for clients worldwide, Nike, Paul Smith, Nokia, Publicis, Bumble&Bumble… and sell punctually her own products in place as Beams, Colette..
