Ted Sabrese’s portfolio is bursting with flavor and imagination. I have selected two of his projects to feature here on Trendland (I found these to be very Trendland material), a mix of photography, innovative fashion, and food! The first series is called “Hunger Pains” and was shot in January of 2009 (pre Lady Gaga). 15 designers, led by Ami Goodheart of SOTO Productions, were involved and each garment took hours to cook, create and assemble.

Elle Muliarchyk (see other features on her here) made a short conceptual video called “Metamorphosis” for the “Building Fashion” exhibition at HL23. She shot Jellyfish for past 3 years, and made this little tribute to DVF – inspired and using the patterns from the dresses that she herself owns. The imagery is really quite beautiful and really well edited.
