French hyper-realist artist Romulo Celdran reinterprets the real and the unreal in his sculptures of oversized everyday objects. Though his work seems to be a copy of the original object it comes to life by the process of decomposition. “In some way I believe that all thought, and therefore, also the artistic thought, has its origin in what we understand as real,” said Celdran.

Moncler gets an A+ for their Fall/Winter 2011 presentation concept. The presentation almost immediately made me think of Thom Browne’s elaborately choreographed presentations, and it is not wonder since last Thom Browne show in Paris and Moncler’s Gamme Bleu in Milan were all produced by Villa Eugenie. I take my hat off to them for pushing the bar and stepping outside of the Fashion Week doors with all of the presentations mentioned.
