Lithuanian-born London-based knitwear designer Laura Theiss blown us away with her resent SS11 collection. The designs combine traditional hand-knitting and crochet techniques inspired by Far East costumes with metallic embellishment, unusual color combinations and futuristic, feminine vision in the forms. The inspiration behind collection was Chinese ancient legend about Dropa Discs and their owners “visitors from the sky” whom originates from 10.000 B.C. We really love this balance between amazing showpieces and wearable, every-day clothes.
