Antonio Lopez is the Picasso of fashion illustration. Mostly known as just plain ‘Antonio’, he was a giant in the field of fashion illustration. He captured the pulse of style from the 60s to the 80s, and is still revered as the most inspiring illustrator by today’s practitioners. He worked with a variety of materials including pencil, pen and ink, charcoal, watercolor and polaroid film. His work appeared frequently in Vogue, Harper’s bazzar, Elle and Interview. READ MORE

A Swedish threesome is as fantastic as any in the case of Little Majorette indie pop-excessive volume pumping. Between their latest two singles, it was a conflicting internal debate of which one to feature. “London” is a switch up of fun retro samples and soft vocals with a hard beat, while “Overflow” oozes with personal lyrics, riding on an upbeat pop sensibility and adorably 50′s-influenced background vocals. Canadian furniture designer Alex Jowett of Atelier 688 contacted us to introduce their very cool one of a kind furniture. Located in Toronto’s Art district of Queen West, Atelier 688 showcases the work of local Canadian artists and designers with a leaning towards the use of reclaimed and vintage materials. Their fun and unique items like their original manila rope lights, the vintage kayak chandelier or their Toro bike parts antlers are prefect for the home, cafe or bar. Pretty awesome! READ MORE

Lucy Williams’ assembled artworks may appear to be paintings when you first glance at them, but paint has little to do with her art. The British artist creates 3-d collages of early modernist architecture. My favorite are her pool works, they illustrate the most dimension through the shadows and colors an best demonstrate the meticulous rigor of her work.
