The Norwegian jewelry brand Bjorg’s yearly lookbook features levitation, bare backs with pronounced spines, butterfly wings, and raw cut stones, all resulting in a beautiful and quiet, all be it slightly eerie, presence. Bjorg set out to make this collection about a quest for the Garden of Eden, a sort of other worldly journey forward to a heavenly kingdom once lost, when man lived peacefully in a more primitive and basic state. Not to get too bogged down by mysticism and simplicity, the collection and lookbook still have a playful side with bold designs, bright colors here and there, and a cast of characters that would be comfortable in a kind of Eurasian bazaar or festival.
