Stockholm Fashion Week : S/S 2012

Here is a little recap of Stockhom Fashion Week S/S 2012. I have featured our favorite looks from our favorite Swedish brands. I definitely felt that Hope’s S/S 2012 collection was the strongest of them all. It really felt like a collection. Simple silhouettes paired with great prints and a bold royal blue that weaved its way throughout many of the looks kept the collection looking super fresh.

Rodebjer S/S 2012 was light and breezy like its seaside references. The easy and wearable looks felt effortlessly chic for a younger demographic.

Whyred S/S 2012 felt super Swedish and most importantly very true to the brand. I am a sucker for monochromatic suits, so that got my attention quickly. I also really like the more shapeless looks for women. We are starting to see button-up shirts very properly buttoned more often than styled opened and relaxed. This is a major trend alert!

Fifth Avenue Shoe Repair’s S/S 2012 collection kind of caught me off guard. It was darker than I expected, in more ways than its palette. There was some great construction going on throughout parts of the collection as featured in he pieces above.
