Mozart Guerra’s Sculptures

With just a bit of nylon rope and Styrofoam, Mozart Guerra manages to churn out amazingly life-like sculptures. The past years have seen this Brazilian-born artist tackle subjects, like geishas, monkey heads, and skulls. Born in 1962, Mozart studied architecture at the University Federal of Pernambuco. His first few jobs included working as a set designer for theater, cinema, and TV, while he continued developing his sculpting skills. Mozart moved to Paris in 1992, where he currently lives and works, taking part in various individuals and group exhibits all over Belgium, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Luxemburg, Portugal, and Spain.
