We saw a really nice Ready to Wear Collection by Robert Geller for S/S 2012. Geller took menswear essentials and threw in a nice edge to spice them up while keeping it broad enough and totally wearable. There was some nice textural layering happening in a lot of the looks, we saw a mesh peeking out from underneath the shirts, creating a third and sometimes forth layer.

We always know to expect major androgyny from Rad Hourani, but this season crossed an invisible line for me that almost made me feel uncomfortable. I could not even feature many of the looks the guys were wearing because they were just too extreme. Maybe you may remember a piece I did on Men in Skirts a while back, where I was completely in support of this oncoming trend. It was a very controversial piece that many people have shared their thoughts on.

Cult jewelry line MANIAMANIA is always good for a beautiful campaign, and this 3-part video “The Third Mind” is mind-blowing proof of that. Showcasing their new 2012 Spring Collection, the first film was released on The New York Times T Magazine site, while the second film, “Kaleidescope” was launched exclusively on none other than V Magazine.
