Alexandre Herchcovitch’s Royal Gypsy Trend for FW 2010

For Fall/Winter 2010 Alexandre Herchcovitch went Royal Gypsy on us, and nearly knocked me off my chair with his historical references and meticulously styled headdresses. Gypsy trends definitely have a past life nostalgia in my book so it is hard to recreate that fantasy with the wonderment that Herchcovitch fulfilled in my heart. Turbans dripping with chains, beads and bells were only a highlight of the beautiful story he told for fw 2010.  Stay tuned for the recap of the full collection in the SPFW review. Coming up shortly.
