Amica Magazine gets a Facelift

Amica Magazine’s new editor-in-chief Cristina Lucchini has appointed creative agency Chandelier Creative to give the women’s fashion and lifestyle magazine, originally launched in 1962, a complete facelift. Spearheaded by Senior Art Director Sean Huang, the goal is to engage and inspire the new generation of readers through highly visual imagery that pays tribute to the spirit and sense of humor of its former 60’s and 70’s era glory.

The November launch issue features:   interviews with Elisa Sednaoui, Eva Herzigova and Irina Shayk; Martha Stewart’s 10 favorite cocktails in ’10 Best’; Clint Eastwood prized Berlinetta Ferrari – a gift from producer Dino de Laurentis (Clint sold it and has regretted it ever since) in ‘Ultima Pagina’

Contributing talent includes Bela Borsodi, Douglas Kirkland, Roxanne Lowitt, Martin Parr, Luca Babini, Giovanni Gastel, Chris Craymer, Thomas Schenk, and Richard Phibbs.

In this small preview you can see that Chandelier Creative has called on a serious group of contributors to give this issue the real punch that print magazines are generally starting to lack, as the print world continues on its downward spiral the bar rises for highly conceptual and beautifully produced content.
