** So, last Saturday I was starting to spin my opening set when I went to put on one of the tracks that I usually spin between 10-1045, which I believe was the track “Lady Don’t Tek No” by Latryx (which has been a staple in my library since the 1st party I spun out in clubs.) Anyways, the track was not showing up in my Serato. I started to trip out a bit and then searched for another staple in my library and it was not there. It was like they never existed on my computer.It turned out that I had somehow erased about 1/3 of my music library while messing around with my itunes earlier in the day. * OK. So this is my first post on the Cyana Trendland. As a matter of fact this is the 1st blog that I’ve ever done so bear with me. My name is Devin and I dj under the name dj devin lucien, which is my first name and my middle name. I will be writing about things that I have found interesting. The other day my good friend put a song on his ipod for me to listen to. It was Daniel Johnston’s “Casper the Friendly Ghost.” Great song. Most of you will recognize it from the movie “KIDS” (which is one of my favorite movies, even though it is quite depressing). You may remember it from the scene when Casper (Leo Fitzpatrick) and his crew beat up that dude in the park. Anyways its a catchy little tune. It also got me into collecting the rest of the songs that were in that movie. I am posting a few so you can hear. I dont have my external plugged in so I’ll just leave you guys with a few that i happened to have on me now. So that’s it for the first post. Tomorrow will be better (I hope).
