Burberry SS09 Men’s Bag Collection

Here is a preview of the beautiful Burberry men’s accessories collection which was previewed during the Burberry Prorsum SS 09 menswear catwalk show. The Bags featured include totes in tarnished alligator, cotton canvas and soft natural grain leather with a color palette including tan, chocolate, stone, sand, bark and mushroom. All bags contain functional fitted pockets for holding mobile phones, MP3 players and PDA’s. Prices start at $1095 (SS09 men’s accessories collection will be available Dec. 2009 in Burberry stores & Burberry.com). The Menswear accessories collection also features shoes, small leather goods, belts and jewelery.

Burberry is synonymous with quality, innovation and style and has a heritage in providing functional accessories with a unique British sensibility.

All of those bags are hybrid versions of ladies handbags. I like the burberry, but the size needs to be increased a half size…those cutesy buckels on the signature check bag need to be increased as well. Leather closures should not be that size as they appear dainty and a mans bag should not appear dainty.
In addition, drop handles for mens bag should not be curvy and long as they appear feminine. Burberry almost got it rite! Leather feet, brass key fobs, and shoulder strap should be a mans size not a skinny peice of bacon. And the items mentioned should not be on the outside of the bag as they are considered charms by woman. Take coach and tumi and mix them together and then u will get the idea of a mans bag. burberry is on the rite track.
