I just stumbled on this old article from New York Mag about this dreamy building located at 190 Bowery, and it’s funny because we were just talking about this building the other day. A staple of the downtown New York landscape, with it’s walls full of graffiti and posters, the six-story, 72-room, 35,000-square-foot building was bought by photographer Jay Maisel in 1966 for MORE AFTER THE JUMP
