Interesting visual concept by Nancy Lan -  To survive and stand out amongst the excessive bombarding advertising images, her photographic approach aims to create a fashion shot that is a perplexing and disorientating illusion, to evoke a confusing reaction. Exploring tropes to highlight body and space distortions using the exact same fabric for the outfit and the background, and manifested through odd pose and insertion of extra and unnatural body parts, I challenge the viewer to interrogate my work, and question how alien the models could appear in today’s fashion advertising.
