Ubiquitous with every must-know after hours party, he has mastered the art of plate and needle. A French DJ that exhales film noir, Gesaffelstein is model-material with hands that can spin a turntable like The Gravitron. He is taking his ironclad beats from his early techno rise to the electro-house dance floor with is latest mixes off Conspiracy Remixes (Turbo Recordings). With one hand on the crowd and the other running through his hair, Gesaffelstein, a moniker for Mike Levy, takes a bite out of the club scene and comes out on top with The Lack of Hope (Glass Figure Remix).

At the peak of his game with global bookings and in-demand mixes, Gesaffelstein is about to further sprout in the US. with a Lana Del Rey mix on the horizon and a number of new tracks including his most recent Lemonade (Phantasy) with British electro spinner Erol Alkan and Boys Noize. His climb to  prodigal, sinister dance floors and owning DJ sets overflowed into the US when his pair up with fembot Miss Kttin took off for a synth-pop electro explosion of  “All You Need Is Love” in early 2011. Meanwhile, the seasoned spin sensation had been producing mixes from early 2008 before arriving where he drops, throbs, pulses and mixes now:  in every major nightclub from Italy to Russia, and a lucky few US venues. Catch Gesaffelstein this month in US starting out on 03/16 @ Chicago’s The Mid and then hitting New York and Miami before spiraling back to Europe.
