For the 10 year anniversary of Vogue Russia some of fashion’s biggest names designed a Matrioshka (Traditional Russian doll) -the dolls will be auctioned for charity at a super-chic party on November 20 -

The designers sketches were realized by Russian craftsmen, who hand-painted the 50 centimeter dolls. “Every Matrioshka is unique and a piece of art in itself,” said Aliona Doletskaya, Russian Vogue‘s editor-in-chief. “Installation, sculpture, objet d’art – you can call it however you wish.”
