Famous spinner DJ AM was tragically found dead in his NYC apartment this week. In September of 2008, DJ AM and Barker nearly died while escaping the burning remains of their airplane. The two had planned to perform together for the first time since the crash at an event in Los Angeles on New Year’s Eve this year.
The circumstances of his death are unclear but he was apparently found with multiple prescription bottles and a pipe used to smoke crack. Some sources have said he was still struggling with the guilt associated with the plane crash. Additionally, he had recently finished filming a reality tv show for MTV which helped people overcome their drug addictions.
We at TrendLand thought we would celebrate his life by posting some of his best performances.
