Alberto Seveso, A Due Colori

Medecina Rossa by Alberto Rossa

We already reviewed the meticulous illustrations of Alberto Seveso, ‘a due Colori’ is one of his latest projects. When I first saw these images I couldn’t quite make out what they were. At first, I thought it might be fabric floating in water, then I thought it could be smoke, painted different colors using photoshop, or some kind of filter. Turns out, this new project was realized by taking high-speed photographs of ink mixing with water. Seveso mixed two colors, thus the titled series ‘a due Colori’. He drops the varnish/ink into a fishbowl, and as it swells and does it’s fluid thing, morphing into these amazing shapes, he times the motion perfectly capturing these gorgeous images.
