The very talented photographer Julia Fullerton-Batten just released her latest series titled “Mothers + Daughters.” Julia portrays the complex and sometimes challenging relationships between a mother and her daughter through this series. It is both documentary and biographical in nature; as it illustrates memories of her own two sisters’ relationships with their mother, and even her mother’s relationship with her mother. Julia cast real mother and daughter pairs herself and by shooting them in their own environments, was able to show the dynamic essence of their emotional bond.
