Chanel joins Parisian temple of hip Colette to open a pop-up store, during the time of Paris fashion week (March 1st to 10th). In a former garage turned into a giant living display space, both houses have artists, and installations combining fashion, art and musical performances while selling their products. The occasion also find artists Kevin Lyons, Soledad, Fafi, SO-ME and André who will customized Chanel bags upon request … A perfect co-branding ephemeral boutique.

The J.Crew’s first menswear-only boutique: J.Crew Liquor Store is located in landmark townhouse of the old Tribeca Tavern (1825). The original wood bar is still intact and they got their very best items on tap: premium officer’s chinos, narrow-cut suits, ties and handpicked vintage collectible like watches, LPs and first-edition books…

As a Parisian, I can tell you that L’Eclaireur is THE best concept store in the French Capital – If you told me “and what about Colette?” I would tell you, Colette’s got the hype, L’Eclaireur got the class! More then 2 years post the Launch of Bernhard Willhelm’s first store in Shibuya, Tokyo, I’m still amazed of how Item Idem, (an amazing collective of hyper-crea; designers, artists, architect…which Bernhard is a part of) and the Japanese in general so are advanced in trends. The store is a reproduction of a Tokion bum’s lifestyle. As you can see below they are pushing the theme to the max !!
