UFO & Evo­­ Mo­­bil by Ora Ito

On the edge of the hy­poth­e­­sis and con­tem­po­rary art, French product designer Ora-Ïto launch­es the world­wide pre­miere an un­u­­su­al ex­pe­ri­ence based on the ge­net­ic tran­s­­for­­ma­­tions. Ora-Ïto has cre­at­ed two hybrid cars: The “UFO” & the “Evo­­mo­­bil”, both in­­spired by the icon­ic ‘DS’ and ‘Traction Avant’ cars from Cit­roën. He build these sculp­­tures combining the dream of the for­­mal and the fu­­ture of tech­nol­ogy.

Citroen X Lacoste Concept Car

Its not the first time that a car maker collaborates with a fashion label ( Hermes / Chanel / Alfa Romeo ). This time its Citroen and Lacoste, who came up with this concept car, which was just unveiled at the Paris Motor Show. A cool concept but more for the beach side, not really for heavy rain or snowy weather.

The GT by Citroen: The Virtual Crossover

If you’re one of the millions that owns a copy of Gran Turismo 5 for the PS3, you’re going to love this one…  In a surprise move by this French automaker, Citroen has revealed this virtual machine as a real world concept car today at the Paris Auto Show.  A joint venture with the makers of Gran Turismo, the GTbyCitroen is expected to hit 62mph from zero in just 3.6 seconds.  The GT achieves this from a hybrid combustion/fuel cell engine with a total of 752 horses.  We’re guessing the GTbyCitroen will never see the light of day as far as production, but with the release of this concept, we can at least be optimistic. – via Gear Crave

Citroen 2cv by Hermès
