Artist David Poppie seems to find inspiration in the little things. His recent work involves the reclaiming disposable objects in mass to create two and three dimensional works. Pieces can involve tea bags, matchbook strikes, plastic cutlery, etc. Fascinated by objects that are generally disregarded and ignored by the everyday people, Read the full story

Lucy Williams’ assembled artworks may appear to be paintings when you first glance at them, but paint has little to do with her art. The British artist creates 3-d collages of early modernist architecture. My favorite are her pool works, they illustrate the most dimension through the shadows and colors an best demonstrate the meticulous rigor of her work.

If you have not noticed thus far, I am a super fan of Damien Blottiere’s work. He does a seamless job at turning photography into pure art. I am always a fan of a good collage, the mix of things that may in no other way live together in one world, if not in a collage. This is definitely the case here in Able Parris’s collage illustrations. The graphic designer combines all kinds imagery to tell stories or share ideas of his colorful imagination. The titles of his pieces which are often part of the collages are just as good as the images.

I stumbled upon 23 year old Brazilian art director and designer, Fernando Bittar’s site and loved these collages he did. I cant quite figure out what they are for but they look great, and it seems that there will be a video to follow. I imagine these images broken down into motion could be quite dynamic.
