Swedish installation photographer, Helga Steppan assessed all of her belongings to create this series, entitled “See Through”, where she separates everything she owns into color groups, to then build a still life out of each color. Color, still life’s and organized chaos are three things that never fail to secure my attention, so when i saw an image form this series it immediately led me to dig a bit and find out about the artist.

Colors are Malene Landgreen‘s vocabulary, and when it comes to color blocking we totally understand what she means! Landgreen has moved far beyond the conventional frames of painting in Denmark with the wall exhibition in Kunsthal Charlottenborg. While doing the beautiful Rosie post, I discovered high-end fashion photographer James Meakin – UK based, Meakin’s portfolio is full of colors and amazing styling. He shoots for Vogue Portugal, Exit, and Flair amongst others. Apparently he likes to shoot in deserts/rocky environments, there is not a lot of information about him, but his pictures speak on their own! see more of his work here: www.james-meakin.com
