Another great project directly coming out of the (very buzzed school) Hyper Island. This Interactive Window Concept was made for their Advanced Interface Design class. Using Aussie streetwear brand WESC, they created these interactive windows where online uses upload their video, create their background and choose in which city they want it to showcase. Darkroom is a new concept on Lamb’s Conduit Street, London. They curate an eclectic mix of high-end fashion, interior and lifestyle accessories alongside bi-monthly art and sculpture exhibitions.

Darkroom explores several concepts – a crossover between fashion and interiors and with it the juxtaposition of materials, scale and form. Beautifully done, there presentation looks neat. So if you are in the neighborohood you should go check it out : 52 Lamb’s Conduit St, London, WC1N 3LL

Opened in Paris last March, the 16,000 Sq foot concept store, is the new mecca for design and fashion lovers alike. Now in her sixties, Marie France Cohen and her husband, (who also created the chic children brand Bonpoint, 30 years ago), have founded yet another brilliant endeavor. Merci is the first “Charity Store” ( or Magasin Solidaire ) in France, it means that 100% of their profit will go to a charity association helping women and kids in Madagascar ( one of the poorest countries in the world ). Continuing with the pop-up store phenomenon that we seem to be in the midst of,Louis Vuitton has teamed up with Japanese retail brand Seibu (info), in opening a temporary outlet in Seibu’s gigantic Ikebukuro department store in Tokyo – The Louis Vuitton/ Underground/ goes with a raw and industrial look and is completely different in terms of interior than other Vuitton spaces. LOUIS VUITTON underground is a concept store, and will only be running for a limited period of time…

Sick 11,000 sq-ft Concept Store/ Event Space by Puma (created by Lot-Ek) – Twenty-four shipping containers are retrofitted and transformed into PUMA CITY, a transportable retail and event building that is traveling around the world along with the 70-foot long Puma sailing boat – il Mostro – during the one-year long 2008 Volvo Ocean Race, just started in Alicante, Spain in early October.

The building is fully dismountable and travels on a cargo ship along with the sail boats; it will be assembled and disassembled a number of times once it reaches the different international harbors.
