I love this custom furniture collection by German craftsman Valentin Loellmann, developed from curiosity towards materials, their travels and the stories they tell. Each piece is unique and they are usually made from old Bankirai wood reinforced with polyester skin.

Swedish designer Gabriella Gustafson & Mattias Ståhlbom ( TAF ) took a piece of foam and wrapped it with fabric in the same way you make a parcel. The fabric looks like paper and the product becomes a gift. Simple, easy and cheap, it looks good and can give you some idea to wrap some of your furniture you are bored of…

Sometimes the shape of a present becomes more important than the actual content. In this case the inside could be whatever you wish it to be. The parcels are soft and work as modules to build different comfortable seating possibilities. When the trolley is loaded with parcels it becomes an easy chair.

IKEA Gone Insane! Kenyon Yeh or Wiyono Sutjipto is a genius ! Seriously who would have think outside of the box regarding IKEA furniture ?! Making something new, different, strange or personal from the standardized, uniform, modular parts that come when you buy an IKEA furniture kit. It is just genius !

He also created a collection called Homeless furniture – Furniture Design with abandoned/unwanted street furniture !
