Sotheby’s “Important 20th Century Design” Auction

Tomorrow (June 12th) marks the opening of the Sotheby’s “Important 20th Century Design” auction in New York. Bids will start between $30.000 to $50.000 with an  amazing selection of furniture design (especially chairs & seats ) including these expensive chairs by artists like Tom Sachs, Shiro Kuramata, Gaetano Pesce and Robert Wilson. Diego Silvério is an award winning Industrial Designer based in Curitiba, Brazil. His experience ranges from working with sustainable design research, graphic design, furniture and industrial design. The Tetris Furniture project  is based on the tetris game where each piece is a part of the game and has a different function. A pretty cool idea that maybe Ikea or Design Within Reach will copy pretty soon…
