French born Robert Masciave came to the UK at the age of 19. After leaving school at 15, he joined a technical college where he studied electronics and mechanics. Robert realized 2 years later that he was destined to do something very different! He worked for an internationally salon as artistic director for 11 years and opened his salon in 1999, METROPOLIS Hairdressing Ltd in London. Metropolis was reviewed by The Sunday Times and Vogue as being “the most stylish salon in the area’ and reported to be ‘an excellent and enjoyable experience with well-mannered staff.” He became well known for his technical excellence combined with vision and creativity.
