The Yoshida Brothers are a duo from Hokkaido, Japan.  They specialize in playing the shamisen but are also famous for taking the traditional art of shamisen playing and adding modern touches to it.  If you have never heard of the shamisen, just think of it as kind of like a Japanese banjo.  They have been around for quite a while but I was recently turned on to them by a friend of mine here in Japan. A Tokyo-based design company called Phiria has recently launched Bijin Tokei (Hot Girl Clock), a site where you get to see one sexy Japanese girl every minute for 24 hours. The girls hold up time cards which are updated every minute, so every time you look at the gadget, you will  know what time it is and get to see pretty girls simultaneously.
