Carrying on from last season, Dior Homme is launching a project specifically conceived by Kris Van Assche and oriented to a new connected generation that gets its fashion and trend information from online magazines and blogs. Shot by photographer Willy Vanderperre, this alternative communication endeavor is composed of a video titled “The Wanderer” and includes a series of nine photos that give an unprecedented insight into the Dior Homme fall/winter 2011 collection.
Kris van Assche’s S/S 2012 collection stays true to his simple but edgy reputation with his deconstructive suits details, mixing knitwear with tailored suits. High-water pants continue to be hot for S/S 2012, with no sign of departing in the near future. His simple palette of greys and whites keeps a tight focus on all the fantastic details of each piece.
Monochromes of black,white, copper and Airforce Blue set the tone for Dior Homme’s S/S 2012 collection. The leather details on the collars and waistbands added beautiful touches to the some of the looks, while the fedora with extra tall crown’s added the attitude we always expect from Kris Van Assche at Dior.
