Fairy meets warrior in Antonio Berardi’s S/S 2012 collection. Beautifully crafted sequencing over soft flowing silks pointed loud and clear to the armour reference Berardi mentioned. It was nothing we had not seen in the past but craftsmanship of this nature always deserves to be highlighted. Read the full story

Richard Nicoll’s S/S 2012 collection was feminine with a futuristic kick. Layers of silk were punctuated with hooped hems giving it that extraterrestrial touch that set his looks apart from all the other silky full length looks we have seen for S/S 2012. Read the full story

Sexy contours paired with oceanic inspired prints set Peter Pilotto’s S/S 2012 collection off this season. The body conscious silhouettes used construction details that paralleled wetsuits. It felt futuristic and tech but contemporary at the same time. Loved the prints! Read the full story

Roksanda Ilincic went full throttle sporty-chic for her S/S 2012 collection. Ofcourse that dichotomy almost always suggests great use of color/blocking on relatively simple silhouettes, and that is just what we saw in this collection. For S/S 2012 Mary Katrantzou explored nature in her textiles. An impulse that seems far more transparent than previous seasons notions. But as always, through her own way of abstraction, she delivered a less than predictable arrangement. Read the full story

Oh so 60′s! I felt like I traveled back in time to the 60′s as the models strutted down the runway with their long hippie locks paletted in Holly Fulton’s highlighter looks. Holly Fulton has become one of my most anticipated shows for London Fashion Week. Her reoccurring signature Art Deco prints have made me yearn to see her development season after season. For S/S 2012 Holly Fulton delivered another dose of fashion euphoria. What I find so humbling about her collections is her apparent relationship to the the craft and her ability to project her sense of humor/joviality through it, while everyone else seems to take it all so seriously.
