Maison Martin Margiela has always been non-conformist, from their Runways to their collection and ofcourse their sunglasses. We reviewed ‘L’incognito’ a while ago, and now here are their last Visor Sunglasses from the F/W 09-010 Collection – The single lens design is, somehow, comparable to aviators with a Margiela touch! Atypical, playful and unique – you can Read the full story

Martin Margiela is always on top of the trends and when it comes to his store designs, they are simply art! I believe being a fan of Margiela’s collections goes hand in hand with loving their stores, I’ve been to bunch of them all over Europe, but this one recently opened in Munich, and it looks pretty clean and extremely well designed. (It was really hard to fine big pictures) The 270 sqm. store is located on top-notch maximilianstrasse and features both menswear and womenswear collections. location: maximilanstrasse 34.
Also I wish I could be there right now to check his 20 retrospective Exhibition: haus der kunst (on until june 1st) – More info Here

After reviewing all the mens SS09 fashion shows, there was one reoccurring trend in just about every collection and that was, head to toe monochrome. It was definitely easier to except in the white and grey hues than Gucci and Niel Barrets neon suits (not pictured here), but i do feel that Givenchy (
look 2 and 4) pulled it off in great taste.
