I found the full Miu Miu Fall/Winter 2010 Campaign photographed by Mert and Marcus on GB65, Giovanni Bianco’s creative branding studio’s site. I loved the makeup, by  Sandra Cooke, hair, Luigi Murenu, and the choice of the models for the the campaign. The models pale skin and the washed out colors used in the makeup palette along with the sleek, icy blonde hair makes the collection’s details pop.

I love this editorial from Vogue Nippon’s July issue featuring Raquel Zimmermann as a Mod Goddess. The styling is absolute throw back to the way my mother was dressing from ’78 till about ’82, from the black and white architectural dresses to the earpieces that few people could pull off. Yesterday we introduced the upcoming Emporio Armani’s new campaign with Victoria Beckham, which received a great response. The same photographers, Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, shot the upcoming Miu Miu ad featuring Katie Holmes. I love the mood, lighting and colors of the photograph but something about Katie in this picture just doesn’t work. I cant say if it’s the entire pose or just that exposed leg, but her body language does not convey the mood of the photo for me.
