href="http://www.fosterthepeople.com/" target="_blank">Foster the People has definitely got my attention with their summertime essential “Pumped Up Kicks”. Possessing a sound that embodies the beyond catchy hook creativity of MGMT and the melodiousness of Pete Bjorn and John using the whistle flawlessly throughout their composition, I would be surprised not to find that these LA natives are not on their way to blowing up just as MGMT did in the summer of 2008. It’s only a matter of time before the album drops and people begin to foster their music and show them some reciprocity. Make sure to check out their website <a

Enjoy!

Listen to “Pumped Up Kicks” here

[Audio clip: view full post to listen]

<a

Their sound is both distinctive and addicting. As described on their website, MGMT’s album is a collection of “hallucinatory sounds and hook-riddled pop tones for the new millennium.” (...) Read More about <a
