Im glad I was watching the Grammy’s privately this year and not present at the ceremony. The liberty to walk away or tune them out was definitely a luxury this time around. Of course there were some key moments including Radiohead‘s first live U.S. television performance since 2000 in which they were accompanied by the USC Marching Band, Coldplay‘s performance of Viva La Vida- Best Song of the Year, Jamie Foxx, Ne-Yo, Smokey Robinson and Duke Fakir performing a tribute to The Four Tops, and JT and Al Green, who jumped in at the last minute for no show Rhiana.
And now on the fashion tip, here are a few things I felt needed a mention; whether you loved or hated Coldplay‘s outfits or more specifically their embellished military jackets I am certian you noticed them. We have seen Chris Marin sport similar jackets before but it made a serious impact to see them all rocking the style. It was news to me that the jackets were handmade by Coldplay bassist and so-called “quiet man, Guy Berryman – fourth richest man under the age of 30 in the UK, with an estimated wealth of £25 million (According to an article released by MSN UK in April 2008).
